A binding Code of Conduct applies to all our suppliers and partners, our production facilities are audited, and the recycled content we use is certified by independent third parties. Our commitments hold up to inspection, not just to marketing.

As part of this commitment, we also assist customers in preparing and completing their Declaration of Conformity (DoC) to ensure clarity, compliance, and confidence throughout the regulatory process.

Reduce: Optimized weight with maximum strength

We continuously work to reduce the weight of our fabrics and ancillary materials without compromising strength, safety, or performance. By collaborating closely with our key customers, we optimise and standardise packaging specifications and often identify opportunities to lower plastic usage while creating added value. Through our experience across the wider industry, we can also provide the technical arguments and reassurance customers need to confidently reduce their plastic consumption. We at TecPac maintain strong partnerships with leading machinery suppliers to ensure our manufacturing partners invest in the most efficient and advanced technologies available. This enables us to develop lighter materials that retain full strength, coverage, and moisture‑barrier properties while using less energy during weaving and extrusion. Our PP materials offer additional environmental advantages: they are significantly lighter than PE alternatives and far more durable, reducing tearing, damage, and the uncontrolled waste that often results from failed PE wraps.

Reuse: Circular Thinking

We at TecPac offer tailor‑made reusable hoods in almost every product style, enabling customers with closed‑loop supply chains to adopt reusable packaging as a cost‑effective and environmentally responsible solution. We actively promote the benefits of reusable systems and support customers in implementing them wherever possible. TecPac also embraces reuse within our own processes. Instead of heavy polyolefin, PVC, or steel cores, we repurpose discarded yarn bobbins from the textile industry—strong paper‑based components that we assemble into the required core length. Once the fabric is unwound, the short segments separate easily without cutting and can be recycled directly into the cardboard waste stream.

Recycle: Closing the Loop

Our PP-05 products are fully recyclable, and demand for PP-05 waste remains strong due to its suitability for a wide range of extruded products. Successful recycling depends heavily on end‑user behaviour, including proper folding, compacting, and logistics to ensure efficient transport to recyclers. While we do not currently offer a take‑back service, we support our customers by connecting them with appropriate recycling partners in their region. All TecPac manufacturing partners recycle 100% of their internal process waste, which can be reintegrated into production in controlled amounts. Because maintaining material performance is essential, we avoid using externally sourced recycled PP of unknown origin.

PCR & PIR Products

Up to 50% Recycled Content

As a standard, TecPac includes a minimum of 30% PIR recycled content in its products, and we can manufacture items with up to 50% PCR (post consumer recycled) content upon request. Increasing recycled content reduces reliance on virgin material and lowers CO₂ emissions, both by decreasing the high impact resin production stage and by reducing end of life incineration.

Responsible Plastic Use

Protecting resources with a minimal footprint

We believe that the responsible use and recovery of plastics represents the most sustainable choice when looking at how best to protect valuable products and resources. Excess packaging is completely unnecessary, and one of the biggest impacts we can make is to reduce the amount of plastic used in any given application. Our products focus on maintaining the lowest engineered weight while maximizing performance.
